• Accessibility: The seawater pump is located on the front side of the engine, and it is usually hard to access. This is the reason many Yanmar 6LP owners prefer to remove the whole pump in order to change an impeller. Sometimes, it is easier to have one or even two spare pumps instead of parts for them.
